Under state law, monthly Wisconsin Retirement System annuity payments are payable on the first day of the month. When the day falls on a weekend or holiday, it is moved to the next regular business day.
The Department of Employee Trust Funds, including all customer service phone lines, will be closed for business on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1. ETF’s customer service call center staff will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26 and Tuesday, January 2. Effective February 1, 2024, the ICI Program will consolidate its standard and supplemental coverage levels into a single level of coverage for earnings up to $120,000.
The Board has extended the ICI premium holiday for 2023, based on the strong financial position of the local ICI plan. This means that employers and employees will not pay premiums for either standard or supplemental ICI coverage.
