Dunn had been serving as acting executive assistant since December 2003. She has worked at the Department for over 31 years, serving in a variety of management and staff positions. Most recently, she served as administrator of the Division of Management Services (DMS) and as the agency's human resources director. Henning, former director of the Department’s Office of Strategic Services, has worked at the Department since 1998 and was previously director of legislation and planning.

She has a masters degree in public policy and administration from the La Follette Institute of Public Affairs. In addition she has been a state budget office analyst in the Department of Administration and a personnel specialist for the Department of Employment Relations.

Said Stanchfield, "We are pleased and fortunate to have two such experienced, highly qualified individuals working on behalf of the Wisconsin Retirement System. We will all benefit from their leadership abilities, management skills, and business experience."
