Election Taking Place:
Employee Trust Funds (ETF) Board –
Educational Support Personnel Employee Member

Balloting is taking place for an election to select the Educational Support Personnel Employee member of the ETF Board. All Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) employees who are Educational Support Personnel Employees in either a technical college district or public school district will soon receive a packet from ETF containing an official ballot, voting instructions, candidate information, frequently asked questions and a return envelope. Two candidates are vying for the post.

The candidates are as follows:

Kimberly Hall, DC Everest School District
Judy Van Sluys, River Valley School District

Ballots must be cast by Friday, May 13, 2011, to be counted.

Please note:

• The materials bear an Illinois postmark because that is the location of the mail fullfillment company that submitted the lowest bid to distribute and tabulate the ballots. ETF is required to contract with the vendor with the lowest bid. No Wisconsin companies submitted a bid for the election project.

• This is an election to select an ETF Board member only. You are not voting to elect someone to the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB), the separate state agency that invests the assets of the Wisconsin Retirement System.
