Answer:

WIS ACT 302 effective 5/16/97 for both teachers and non-teachers.

• Rehired annuitants no longer needed to exceed their earnings limit.
  
  
• Rehired annuitants in a qualifying position could elect or not elect to participate in WRS at any time.
  
  
• Once the election is processed, the account is re-established and the annuity cancelled.
  
  
• Provisions for Disability annuitants remained the same as above.
